On May 26, 2026, Tilt Energy had the honor of taking part in the France Electrification Team meeting, hosted by the President of the Republic at the Élysée Palace, as part of the Electrification Usage Plan presented by the Prime Minister in April 2026. This recognition reflects Tilt's commitment alongside the industrial players, companies, and financiers mobilised to accelerate France's electrification.
Tilt Energy is committed to accelerating flexible electrification in France.
As part of the electrification plan led by the Government, Tilt supports the national ambition to reduce the share of fossil fuels in energy consumption from nearly 60% in 2023 to 40% in 2030, and then to under 30% by 2035. Today, fossil fuel imports still cost France more than €60 billion per year.
The plan also aims to raise electricity's share of energy consumption from 27% in 2022 to 39% in 2035, with a target of around 54% by 2050, in order to produce in France the energy we consume and strengthen French energy sovereignty.
In 2026, more than 95% of the electricity produced in France comes from low-carbon sources, making our country one of the world leaders in decarbonised electricity.
Through the smart management of electrical usage - HVAC, charging stations, batteries, and distributed energy systems - Tilt is committed to:
- Enhancing the flexibility of buildings and electrical infrastructure to adapt consumption to the real-time needs of the power grid;
- facilitating the integration of electrical usages (heat pumps, charging stations, batteries, and more) through automated, predictive control tools;
- helping reduce France's dependence on fossil fuels by turning distributed electrical assets into flexibility resources;
- supporting competitive electrification for businesses by optimizing energy costs and the integration of renewable energy.
