We’re excited to announce a strategic partnership with GreenYellow, industrial orchestrator of flexible electrification since 2007. Together, we’re launching an integrated offer to accelerate the deployment of Behind-the-Meter (BTM) battery energy storage systems across the industrial and commercial sectors.

The roles are clearly split:
GreenYellow designs, finances, builds, operates and maintains the storage infrastructure.
Tilt Energy manages the system in real time and monetises its flexibility on electricity markets.
Together, we give businesses a single solution that combines infrastructure, financing and energy management, so they can get the full value out of their storage capacity.
Why now?
Electricity prices are volatile, more and more energy uses are being electrified, and renewables keep growing. In this context, businesses face two challenges: they need better control over their energy costs and stronger resilience on their sites. Battery storage helps with both, and it also opens up new revenue from flexibility.
Storage is becoming a core building block of flexible electrification, supporting both the energy performance and the economic performance of businesses.
Removing the barriers to battery storage
Interest in battery storage keeps growing, yet many businesses still face three major obstacles:
- High upfront investment costs
- The technical and operational complexity of projects
- Uncertainty around flexibility revenues
Our joint offer tackles all three through an integrated model. GreenYellow supports the investment, performance commitments are contractually guaranteed, and specialists handle both the operation of the asset and the monetization of its flexibility. Clients get a turnkey solution and can stay focused on their core business.
This goes beyond a simple Battery-as-a-Service offer. Businesses get a high-performance, controlled solution without having to manage the complexity of financing, operating and monetizing the asset.
Storage as strategic infrastructure
Electricity storage is becoming a key component of businesses’ energy systems. The goal isn’t simply to install a battery. It’s to integrate it into a complete system that combines energy efficiency, electrification, local renewable generation and intelligent energy management.
This is where Tilt’s expertise comes in. A battery’s value depends on how well it’s piloted. Our platform combines advanced forecasting, intelligent asset control and direct access to French electricity markets, so each battery runs at the right moment, based on both the site’s needs and signals from the electricity system.
What they say
“Electricity is becoming one of the main drivers of business competitiveness. In this new environment, electricity storage should no longer be viewed as a standalone energy technology, but as an industrial infrastructure in its own right. With increasingly volatile markets and growing electrification of energy uses, businesses need solutions that can improve efficiency and resilience without tying up additional capital. Together with Tilt Energy, we combine infrastructure, financing and advanced energy management to make electricity storage more accessible and create greater value. Our ambition is to help businesses turn the flexibility of their energy systems into a lasting driver of competitiveness.”
— Mathieu Cambet, Group Strategy Director, GreenYellow
“The value of a battery lies not only in its ability to store electricity. It also depends on how effectively it can be managed and monetized at the right time, based on site requirements and signals from the electricity system. By combining our expertise in real-time energy management and flexibility monetization with GreenYellow’s know-how in energy infrastructure, we enable businesses to fully capitalize on the flexibility offered by their energy assets.”
— Romain Serres, Co-founder and CEO, Tilt Energy
